Feeding Foster Families Across NW Florida

Feed Fosters is an organization in the Pensacola area dedicated to serving foster families across the Northwest region of Florida.

Served 6756 meals across four counties in NW Florida.

Partnered with nine local restaurants.

Supplied more than 1000 packages of diapers, wipes, and other supplies.

Partnered with seven local churches and nine local organizations.

There are about 19,000 kids in the foster care system in Florida, and Feed Fosters was started in 2020 to show love and support to these families.

Moreover, it was a great way to support local restaurants during the Corona Virus Pandemic by purchasing all monthly meals directly from them.

The organization brings a meal to every single foster family in the region every month, totaling over 200 meals.

“It might seem like a simple meal to most, but it’s where we connect as a family and talk about our day. We are extremely grateful for Feed Fosters and their sponsors for providing meals for busy foster families like ours”

Hesston Hooten — Foster Parent

In addition to serving over 6,756 meals across NW Florida in 2020, Feed Fosters also supplied more than 1,000 packages of diapers, wipes, and other supplies.

Feed Fosters was able to help their communities in 2020 with the help of nine local restaurants, seven local churches, and nine local businesses.

They hope to continue their work in serving foster families as well as local businesses.

Atlantic Key Energy’s mission is to serve others and help them achieve more. Over the past year, AKE has partnered with Feed Fosters and has sponsored the monthly meals and the 2020 Breakfast with Santa event.

The partnership will continue to grow to make a difference in the lives of the foster family community.
